The Coalition advocates for and supports the enforcement of policies and legislation which address the economic challenges faced by black women in our communities. We seek to teach financial literacy skills which women are confronted with daily. Seeking a job, preparing for the the interview, banking, budgets, estate planning, retirement planning, wills, trust, entrepreneurial endeavors, investing, buying property, and more.
The goal of the organization is to develop partnerships with organizations with similar goals. We seek support to implementation our Economic Empowerment programs, events, and activities.

The purpose of sister-nomics is to inform and inspire Black women to become financially literate, connect with financial planning, financial management, community resources, focus on financial security at every age, collaborate with other Black economic programs, and to provide information to help with making better financial decisions. The targeted Economic Empowerment Initiatives include; Entrepreneurship, employment strategies, affordable Healthcare, Money Management Strategies, Safe Investment and Economic Empowerment.

The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Los Angeles Chapter has Financial workshops for the Community, Mentees and Members. We bring in professionals to discuss banking fundamentals, estate planning, resume writing, social media presence, and basics of spending and savings.
The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Los Angeles Chapter has an Annual Women’s Empowerment Afternoon Tea, held at the Chado Tea Room located at 1303 El Prado Avenue in Torrance, CA. The purpose of this event is for scholarship fund raising. The theme varies each year around Women's Economic Empowerment topics with phenomenal Women Keynote speakers. One of our Themes was “Unleashing the Entrepreneurial Spirit.” The Women wear their best hat and we select the best “Tea Hat”. We invite female business owners to participate as Vendors. Products range from clothing, jewelry, women’s apparel, and self-defense products.
The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Los Angeles Chapter has a Mentoring program to teach young girls jewelry making, artificial flower making, knitting, crocheting, and other crafts for girls to start entrepreneurial endeavors.
