Project Clean Hands provides a means of sanitation to the homeless while advocating for the
necessary health facilities for the homeless who are unable to go to shelters or receive the
benefits of clean facilities for health purposes after business hours.
This project is based on the latest research on the effect of the change in demographics of
homeless to a local neighborhood which cannot accommodate the personal needs and has the
potential of health blight to the local community. Coalition members and friends provide funds
for in kind donations of backpacks, sanitizers, and health kits.

senior living facilities and donation centers. The socks serve to fulfill a simple
yet forgotten need for the people in these facilities.
On December 22, 2018 members of the Los Angeles Chapter celebrated Christmas together by taking a Party Bus Tour throughout Los Angeles for their Christmas Party. They were joined by their partners, members of NCNW. Highlights of the tour stops to visit with their partners the Firemen housed at Fire station 94# and the Leimert Park Convalescent home. At each of these stops the members shared goodwill and spread the Christmas spirit as they toured the facilities. They visited and sang with the resident of the nursing as they passed out socks. They provided toys for the fireman’s Toys for Tots program then boarded the Party Bus to travel throughout the city of Los Angeles, viewing Christmas lights and decorations, laughing, dancing, singing and stopping for dinner at the local Sizzler’s.
